Awarded Wellcome Medal, Prize, and Honorarium by Association of Military Surgeons of the U.S. for advances in military medicine, 1955² 

Chief Surgical Consultant and Coordinator of Professional Consultant Activities, Office of the Surgeon General, 1948-1952² 

At his retirement from the Army was Chief of the Department of Surgery, Tripler U.S. Army Hospital, Hawaii, n.d.²
