Biographical Information

Dr. Staffenberg (MD, Class of 1989) is at present, the Chief of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery which is part of New York University Langone Medical Center.

Most famously he headed the team that successfully separated craniopagus conjoined twins from the Philippines,  Carl and Clarence Aguirre, in August 2004. Subsequently, he has appeared on numerous television and news programs.
