Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Biochemistry is a combined study of biology and chemistry, and focuses on both how and why chemical processes happen in organisms. Medical biochemistry is the formal study of biochemical exchanges that occur within the human body in the context of medicine, usually in terms of drug interactions, cellular responses to disease or hormonal stimulation.
