This class provides the basics for using EndNote Online, which is free to NYMC faculty, students, residents, and fellows.

Writing & Citing: Using EndNote Online

GOAL: To use EndNote Online to collect references, create citations, and format documents.

OBJECTIVES: By the end of the session participants should be able to:

  • Navigate the EndNote Online interface.
  • Create groups to organize their references. 
  • Import references from PubMed and other research databases into EndNote Online. 
  • Search for citations within EndNote Online.
  • Download and use the Capture Reference button.
  • Download and set up Cite While You Write plugin for Word.
  • Create in-text citations using a particular style
  • Create a bibliography using a particular style.
