Can’t find exactly what you are looking for?
In the instance that we do not have a resource in our collection, we can easily show you how to retrieve pretty much any article or book you need by setting up an ILLIAD Account through our InterLibrary Loan program. Simply fill out this FORM by scrolling to the bottom of the page and click on First Time Users Click Here.
Once you have set up your ILLIAD account, you can then order materials directly through PubMed using NYMC’s Article Linker button, which automatically fills in all the pertinent resource information you will need to order your article. This is simple and explained here: FAQ
When the material is ready, you will soon be notified by email with simple instructions on how to download your material.
If it is after service hours and you need to find a book or article, or know how to properly cite a research paper in AMA or APA that is due tomorrow. Quick video tutorials and instructions are available from our library’s homepage under the top Help tab.
If you are having difficulties accessing the library video tutorials, these instructions should provide you with a solution. However, if you follow all of these instructions and you still cannot access the tutorials, please contact the library: http://ask.library.nymc.edu/.
The issue may have to do with the browser that you are using. First, try changing your browser to Internet Explorer. If that does not work, try Solution 2.
1. Click on the link to the tutorial you wish to view.
2. In the address bar, click on the little 'i' before the URL.
3. Navigate to the drop-down menu next to Flash and change the selection to allow.
4. Reload the page.
If the other solutions do not work and you have the ability to do so, come to the library to watch these videos on a library computer. If you come in between the hours of 8AM and 10PM, Monday through Thursday and Friday, 8AM to 5PM a librarian should be at the front desk to help you if you have issues.
