Access Services

About Us

The Access Services Department maintains the database of registered library users and provides the core library services Circulation, Course Reserves, and Interlibrary Loan. Additionally, Access Services provides poster printing and evening and weekend educational media services for the university.


To check out or renew items from the library, go to the Access Services desk.

The Health Sciences Library provides students and faculty with the ability to reserve one of two classrooms and three study rooms in the Main Library. More study rooms are also available to reserve in the Skyline Library.

Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) is a document ordering system which allows registered patrons of the Health Sciences Library to order resources (both books and articles) that the library does not own. For more information, please check out our ILLiad guide here.

The Health Sciences Library now offers coil binding service to the New York Medical College community. You can use this service to create spiral bound notes, manuals, or to rebind existing publications such as study guides, etc. For more information, please check out our Coil Binding guide here.
