The Access Services Department maintains the database of registered library users and provides the core library services: circulation, course reserves, and interlibrary loan. Additionally, Access Services provides poster printing and evening and weekend educational media services for the university.

The primary function of the User Support, Education & Research Services (USER Services) staff in the library is to assist members of the NYMC with their research through education, consultation, and provision of help materials to assist users in navigating the resources of the Health Sciences Library. It is our job to work with you to make sure the library is meeting your needs and that you can adequately use it.

The Health Sciences Library offers a series of classes designed to help you with the process of writing your thesis or literature review. In addition to these classes, we also have our GSBMS Thesis Prep guide, which allows you to browse through all of the resources that the library offers in regards to developing your thesis or literature review, including:
Information Technology (IT) is dedicated to assisting NYMC’s students, faculty and staff with their technology issues. Support is provided for Windows and Macintosh hardware and software, Exchange Email, wireless connectivity, Virtual Private Network (VPN) connectivity, and password expiration and resets. The College maintains a host of contracts and support agreements with various software vendors. For more information about IT's services, visit their page here.
Touro Scholar is an open access institutional repository for showcasing the scholarly output of New York Medical College, a member of the Touro College & University System. Its aim is to promote and preserve the research and scholarship of the Touro community to the public. It is maintained by the New York Medical College Health Sciences library and the Touro libraries.
