Library Policies and Procedures


Self-registration is for NEW RESIDENTS and FELLOWS ONLY at this time. Please only enter your name as it appears in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) lists. If it does not match our list exactly, your request will be deleted. Providing your hospital and program information will expedite processing.

Your account will be available as soon as a library staff verifies your identity. This may take up to one business day.

Checking Your Account Status

To check your account status, follow these steps:

  1. Go to NYMCat.
  2. Log in to your account with your username and password at the bottom left.
    1. The “Your Summary” tab on the left side provides you with a list of items that you have checked out.
    2. The “Your Fines” tab on the left side provides you with an account of your outstanding fines.
    3. The “Your Personal Details” tab on the left side allows you input or change your personal information.
    4. The “Change Your Password” tab on the left side allows you change your password.
