Ask a Librarian allows library users to ask reference questions via the Internet and have them answered by library professionals. Chat is available during the library's service hours, and we aim to respond to all emails within two business hours. Click here or on the Ask Us box on the upper right of this page.
Librarians are available to assist with research questions, aid users in navigating the Capozzi Library collection, and help with database searching, citation management, and technical solutions. Visit the front desk or call +1 (914) 594-4200 and ask for a reference librarian.
User Support Consultations are available to anyone to assist with using library resources and technology (see our class listing for sample topics). Consultations can be in person or via Zoom.
To request a meeting with a librarian, schedule a meeting here.
If it is easier for you, you can also request a consultation via phone at (914) 594-4200 (ask for the reference librarian) or email us.
Each academic department has been assigned a library liaison, who serves as a bridge between the library and the department. A liaison will be able to assist their department with the following:
To find out who your library liaison is, check out our Liaison Services guide here.
The Phillip Capozzi, M.D. Library is happy to offer tours of the library. Please contact User Services via phone (914) 594-4203 or via email to arrange a suitable date and time.
