Library Classes

The Phillip Capozzi, M.D. Library's current class offerings can be found on our Event Calendar.

Library classes are designed to help students, faculty, and employees navigate the resources and products available through the Phillip Capozzi, M.D. Library. Librarian-led instruction sessions also boost competency in finding information and evaluating, synthesizing, and applying information to produce a quality end product. The library offers instruction on using PubMed, EndNote, PowerPoint, MS Excel, and more.

To request a class, fill out the Library Class Request Form.

Special Instruction Sessions/Orientations

Upon request, reference staff conduct special class sessions with students, residents, and/or faculty. Topics may include database searching, evidence-based medicine, EndNote, bibliographic formatting, and more. Faculty are encouraged to work with library staff to develop useful library sessions for their classes. Librarians can conduct sessions at the Phillip Capozzi, M.D. Library, at other campus locations, or at clinical sites.

Contact Deborah Crooke at +1 (914) 594-3168 to request librarian sessions.
