Bioethics

A Selection of Biomedical Ethics eBooks

Find a Book at the Library

Bioethics literature can be found on the library shelves under the W 50 and WB 60 call numbers.  However, as bioethics is a multi-disciplinary field of study, discipline-specific branches of ethics can be found under the discipline's subject classification.

To get started, use keywords like:

  • Bioethics
  • Bioethical issues
  • Ethics, medical
  • Ethical theory
  • Ethical analysis
  • [Ethics topic (e.g. genetic engineering)] -- legislation & jurisprudence

Put your keywords into the library catalog, NYMCat (see the search box below).
