How am I doing?

The audit step in Evidence-Based Practice is one of self-evaluation. Self-evaluation of performance in EBM is essentially the process of answering questions such as the following:

  1. Am I asking well‐formulated answerable questions?
  2. Am I becoming more efficient in my searching for the best evidence?
  3. Am I critically appraising evidence for its validity and usefulness?
  4. Am I integrating critical appraisals into my practice?
  5. Is what I have learned been translated into better clinical practice?
