    In this sequel to the Eleventh Plague, virologist Jack Bryne continues his pursuit of "Teddy" Kameron.

John S. Marr M.D., M.P.H., graduated from New York Medical College with an MD in 1967. He spent most of his career as an epidemiologist but is also a successful writer. In 1998 Marr published The Eleventh Plague with coauthor John Baldwin, a medical thriller described by Kirkus Reviews as “gripping” and “creepy”.  Other works of fiction include The Black Death (1977) coauthored with Gwyneth Cravens and Wormwood (2008) an enovel sequel to The Eleventh Plague.  Marr also published three children’s books on health issues and authored more than 55 medical journal articles.¹ He is particularly noted for his scientific explanation of the Ten Plagues of Egypt.² Dr. Marr retired in 2006. His last professional position, from 2002 to 2006, was Director, Office of Epidemiology at the Virginia State Health Department.³
