The New York Medical College Archives serves as a reference source for both the College community and the general public. As a general principle, the Archives strives to make its holdings available to the widest possible audience, including historians, genealogists, and other members of the public with an interest in the history of the College. However, some of the Archives’ holdings may be closed to outside research.
The holdings of the College Archives and the rare books collection of the Health Sciences Library do not circulate. Researchers wishing to view materials in person must schedule an appointment for an on-site visit.
