The Capozzi Library has entered into a “read and publish” open access agreement with Springer Nature* in conjunction with the Northeast Regional Libraries (NERL) Consortium. This agreement covers the Author Processing Costs (APCs) for thousands of titles until a cap is met within the consortia.

When submitting your article for publication, NYMC authors must:

  • Be the corresponding author; 
  • Have an NYMC email;  
  • Have an NYMC affiliation. 


If all three of these criteria are not met, the library will be prompted to accept or decline coverage.
