APA (7/e) Style Guide

A guide to help users create citations in APA (American Psychological Association) 7 style.

What Is Plagiarism?

"Plagiarism is the act of presenting the words, ideas, or images of another as your own; it denies the authors or creators of content the credit they are due." (American Psychological Association, 2020, p. 254)

NYMC's Student Code of Academic Integrity and Professionalism prohibits plagiarism, and students found violating this code can face consequences as severe as suspension or even dismissal from the college.

Below are some resources that can help you identify and avoid plagiarism.
