Self-Registration

Welcome!

NYMC Health Sciences Library Stacked Standard

Welcome to the Health Sciences Library!

The Health Sciences Library fosters excellence and innovation in education, research, and scholarship through the provision of curated resources, expert services, facilities conducive to independent and collaborative learning, and wide ranging community partnerships in support of the university mission.

With a library account, you can:

  • Access and borrow from our onsite book and journal collections.
  • Access our extensive eBook and eJournal collections, including our databases, both on and off campus.
  • Meet with the USER Services staff for assistance with searching, citation formatting, and more.

What is Self-Registration?

Self-registration is the process through which new residents/fellows and faculty without TouroOne credentials acquire library accounts. When you fill out the registration form, remember to indicate your status as either a faculty member or resident/fellow.

If you are a resident, please enter your name exactly as it appears in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) lists. If the name entered in your request does not match our list exactly, your request will be deleted.  Providing your hospital and program information will expedite processing.
