Throughout your third year, we encourage you to study for Step 2CK. We suggest you use resources like UWorld, OnlineMedEd, Anki, and Amboss. We encourage you to do questions throughout the year, and then take at 2-4 practice exams during your Step 2CK dedicated period. As with all advice, figure out what works best for you to ensure that your dedicated study time is suited to your individual needs. Remember that everyone learns and studies differently.
Take a look at our SOM Peer to Peer Resources Guide. These are recommended resources from your NYMC's School of Medicine Peer Learning Partners and NYMC's School of Medicine AOA that will guide you in your third-year clerkship studies and preparation for STEP 2 CK. You can also download the PLP/AOA M3 Guide and the PLP/AOA Step 2 CK Guide.
OSAS also offers individual support. You can meet with our staff by scheduling a one-on-one appointment or book a session with a Peer Learning Partner (who are available for both M2 Clerkships and Step 2CK prep).
